better than a traditional walker
This is the perfect alternative to a traditional walker, I'd even go as far as saying that it's BETTER than a traditional walker. My 6 month old son moves around it with ease and has really gotten the walking motion down, but without any of the safety concerns that a traditional walker brings (we have a split level home with stairs that would be dangerous for a traditional walker). It is a bit bulky, but no more so than a stand alone jumper. Most importantly, our son absolutely loves it! There's a lot of diversity in the activities on the table, so when he loses interest in one section, he moves right along to another... and each one has helped develop his motor-skills. I would highly reccomend to anyone considering this toy.

This is a life saver for when they're just getting on their feet. Sometimes I just want to look at the tv and relax. I can't leave my kid in her walker b/c she can roll places and grab stuff. Even if I put stuff away, block off areas, she can still find trouble!!! LoL... Thank Amazon, this is basically a stationary walker. She has devices on it to keep her busy, and she can still walk around. Now she's up and walking (while grabbing on to things), and we've taken the chair and wheels off. It's just a table now, but she still plays with it. It's a great buy. She's about 20lbs now, and can knock it over. I'm going to have to weigh it down with something, but I mean c'mon, kids get big.

Install Flash Player I really like this activity center! FYI - She is 7 months in the video... It has really helped my daughter learn the motions of walking (as you can tell, lol). I also not going to complain that it helps me make a meal for myself and eat it! Ha! She mastered most of the toys quickly except for the whale, penguins and the elephant. Now at 8 1/2 months, she can push down the elephant and push the whale over. She still doesn’t acknowledge the penguins, lol! There are some reviews where people have complained about their kids upper thighs getting chafed. Yes, it did happen to my daughter as well, but guess what?? I put pants on her. No chafing. Easy as that! Don’t let that deter you from buying this. It wasn’t that bad to assemble, my husband did it. I could have easily done it myself though. Overall, I do recommend you to buy this!! It’s perfect for a small room or if you just don’t have the right space for a walker.

Best Toy Purchase to Date
One of the Best purchases we have ever made. We recently bought this for my 8 month old, he is in love! It is a fantastic toy with bright colors. It is great to use as an activity table, but most of all to run laps. He loves to run constantly in it in circles. Makes me dizzy just watching him! We thought about buying one when my other children were young, but never did, I wish we did! It is built very well and is not very hard to put together. If I could have given it more stars I would have.

the best baby equipment I've ever purchased
This has been, hands down, the best baby equipment I've ever purchased! My 8 month old really loves it! At first (6 mos) he just sat where ever I put him, then as his feet were able to touch the floor and he began pushing with his legs, he soon discovered he could go places! He pushed with both feet for a while and now he's literally running! It has a very sturdy, stable base that doesn't move when he's maneuvering around. He can go backward and sideways depending on where he turns himself in the chair. The seat swivels around so he can face different directions. The seat material is removable so it can be washed. I hang different items in different places or put random toys in the tray for him to discover. He really loves this activity. The table can be removed and used as a floor toy as well. It has a loud/quiet button as well as an on/off in case we get annoyed at the constant chimes and music. It is a definite recommended item for any baby. My SIL is buying one based on a video I sent of my son running in circles with this activity. Great purchase. Easy to put together (my 16 year old did it). It's definitely great entertainment for everyone, including those watching him run circles! I wish I could upload a video but it doesn't seem to be working.

Our daughter absolutely loves this. She's 7 months old and loves walking (sometimes even running) around and around this, while stopping and playing with literally every item on her way around. Keeps her entertained for hours!

Install Flash Player We bought this for my very active 9 month old and he LOVES IT! It didn't take him any time at all to figure out how to walk in it and he hasn't been walking at all yet. Less than an hour after we got it and he was basically running in circles with this toy. The activity table is interesting to him and so far he enjoys the toys. I do wish it had lights and more musical options but overall this is a big win for containing a crawling and busy baby. A+.

My son loves this! (7 month old, 20+ lbs)
So worth the wait! Actually, it said it would take a month or more to get to me, but only took a couple of weeks! Yay! My son loves it, we've only had it for a few weeks, and he's now 7 months. He is a chubby baby, he was 21 lbs at his 6 month check up. He does NOT tip this over at all. He loves all the different toys and walking in circles. It's great because of our limited hardwood space. He has another walker that he loves too, but he gets bored of the toys easily and he runs into walls way too quickly, and I have to move him a lot. I like that once he's in it, I can go about my business and just keep an eye on him without having to move him around when he gets stuck. I dislike that it's not easy to store anywhere or to move easily, but that's minor for me.

This is the best baby item I have ever bought. This was purchased for my nephew as an alternative to a walker in a home with a lot of stairs. He absolutely loves it. It is very sturdy and whether he is scooting around it or his older brother is pushing him around, it does not tip or lean. The baby loves walking around playing with the toys and is consistently entertained. Highly, highly recommend this!!
